SBG6580-2 receive light blinking
Yesterday my SBG6580-2 receive light started blinking and wifi stopped working. I have tried power cycling and the hard reset button on the machine. Looking at different trouble shooting didn't help since there wasn't a case written out with the same light combination. What are the next steps I should pursue? When do I say this machine is broken and get another one? LightsPower light is on solid and greenThe receive light is on, green, and blinkingThe send light is offThe wifi is on, green, and flickers on/off
I keep getting an error when i change admin password
I have an SBG6580. I use the admin username and motorola for the password and get to the screen prompting me to change my password. I enter admin for the username again and motorola for the existing password, then enter the new password and confirm it, but then I get an error saying invalid password. My password meets all the criteria listed.
Wireless connection is not working with Model sbg6580-g228
I have done factory reset. I have checked connections. I own this modem. The colors on modem are stationary and not blinking at all. I have unplugged for a minute. The wireless light is orange and not green. All lights are lit up and never blinking. This includes after unplugging for a minute and replugging in, checking all connections, and even attempting factory reset. I need help getting wireless connection back to modem and was told this was the free option. Serial number 3797 8133 1623 4126 0602 0006. I own this modem outright. Comcast tried to assist but referred me to you all since it is not their equipment but they verified the modem does read but it is the wireless. Please help as I work remotely. Additionally I asked Ana and tried accessing the web page to look at settings but could not get anywhere. I am having to use my iphone as a hotspot and that connection is limited and not as high speed. It also is very limited.

Wi-Fi security key not working
Our devices are no longer connected to our Surfboard SBG6580-2, and when we try to reconnect for internet service, we are told that we have an incorrect password. We have used the Wi-Fi security key that came with the Surfboard all of this time. We’ve reset the Surfboard, including the 30-30-30 reset, and also had Comcast reset it, but we’re still unable to connect. Any solutions to this problem?

Admin page doesn't work
When I try to connect to the admin page, I get this message: Secure Connection FailedAn error occurred during a connection to 192.168.0.1. Peer using unsupported version of security protocol.Error code: SSL_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED_VERSION The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. This website might not support the TLS 1.2 protocol, which is the minimum version supported. It happens on every browser I have. I saw a similar post and the person was told to disconnect the coax cable. Clearly this doesn’t work, because the problem is that the admin page has security issues. I don’t really feel like paying $40 for a live chat, and I can’t time travel back to Internet Explorer where I could override security flaws, so, what are the options?
