send/receive light blinking on install
I’ve just received the SBG7400AC2 in the mail, and followed the instructions to get it set up. When it turns on, the top light and bottom two are solid blue. The middle light (internet connectivity) is off entirely, and the second light (send/receive) is blinking continuously. I am unable to connect using my service provider. I have let it sit overnight and tried again, as well as completely disconnecting and reconnecting it. Has anyone else had this problem, and how did you solve it? TIA!
wired connection for ARRIS SBG7400AC2 not working
I have a ARRIS SBG7400AC2 router/modem to use with Xfinity. For a while now, the wired Ethernet connections do not seem to be working, but the Wi-Fi works just fine. I have tried different Ethernet cables, and different ports, but the result is the same. I had the wired connections leading to me PC and printer. But now I can only connect to both via Wi-Fi. I do have a Blink doorbell dongle plugged into the USB port in the front that seems to work fine, too. I noticed this happen after we had a lightning storm one day, so I’m wondering if that was the cause. The router has been unplugged and restarted many times, but that hasn’t fixed the issue. Is there a way to test and see what the issue might be? I’m just trying to figure out if maybe there is a different way to reset that might fix things, or if there is something that just got fried internally for this to happen. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!
arris sbg7400ac2 Unable to login in with default admin username and password post factory reset. Keep getting Invalid user name or password, or your access has been locked due to multiple failed login attempts!
Hello,, Forgot my admin password for the router so performed a hard factory reset. Since then I am unable to login with default admin credentials. Yes checked my typing and also attempted with cusadmin and serial number and last 8 of serial number. Any suggestions?
Why is the Reserved IP Client List not updating on the SBG7400AC2?
Hi all, So I have a SBG7400AC2, and have added a number of devices to the Reserve client list..So why is the Reserved IP Client List not updating on the new devices, even after days,yet if the device is turned on it does get the assigned IP. So it seems that both Attached Client List and the Reserved IP Client List are not showing correctlyas i have some 60+ devices and I see onlu 25 at best Any Ideas, seems the software is upto daye a do not se any updates for it Any help would be appreciated M
SBG7400AC2: Windows 10 not connecting to USB file share

However, per the Windows steps, each time I try to go to the 192.168.0.252 IP, I get an error. As “192.168.0.252” I get “site can’t be reached,” and as “\\192.168.0.252” I get “file couldn’t be accessed.”What could be holding it up? I thought possibly it is trying to connect with my Windows credentials instead of my Arris credentials, but I assume I’d get a prompt if so. As I said, MacOS connected without issue, but Windows 10 will not. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance.
