The upload speed is depending on the speed plan and also the service provider you are in so this can be confirmed only by your ISP.

To confirm, that means that it can have upload speeds up to 1gb assuming ISP allows that speed?

For G34, usually ISP will provide maximum speed for the upload will be 40mbps and again its completely depends on Internet service provider.
