S33 Upstream Power Levels and Gibabit Speed w/Xfinity

Xfinity claims that Upstream Power Levels should be +35 to +50 dBmV. The S33 wants Upstream Power Levels to be +45 to +51 dBmV.A lot of Xfinity customers have +35 to +44.9dBmV Upstream Power Levels and they aren’t getting Gigabit performance.How do we fix this?

s34 can't access web interface with direct connection

My s34 is directly wired to my computer via Ethernet 2.5 port (though I also tried the 1.0 port and the result is the same). I can access the web interface for about 15 seconds after a reboot of the modem, but then I have no access. I need the status page to show my ISP that the drops are due to infrastructure problems (upstream and downstream power), not my home network. I replaced the modem at their request and... Surprise, the problems are not any different with a new modem.I can connect to the IP for the web interface either direct connected or behind my wired ubiquity erx router, but only for the first 15-30 seconds the modem is on. What could be the problem here?To be clear, connectivity is fine when I'm trying to access the web interface.

I just bought a weather station and want to connect it to house wifi. I figure the way to do that is on the Arris control panel. Tried using ‘admin’ and the Preshared Key, but I can’t log in. It is an older unit (2014-2015), from WOW!. SN: 9B72G168K500682

Why does the RMA support page (https://mysupport.commscope.com/all-rma-cases/) allow users to view all RMA support cases? It shows emails, address and phone numbers. It also could expose other sensitive information in the user’s description field. This opens up customers to a multitude of scams from bad actors.

I had an SBG6580-2 router/wifi in service for 2-3 years, until this week. Had a power outage, and the router would not reconnect to Xfinity service (for a couple of days). Checked with neighbors--they had service (with Xfinity supplied router). Bought a new router/wifi unit (SBG10) and attempted, for the rest of the day, to install it, without success. Next day I reset the unit and my computer was able to access the WiFi service. However, the computer wold not recognize my wireless printer (printer off-line), and my ROKU TV, nor other ROKU access devices, could not access the WiFi service.. That’s where I am now.Other questions: When I enter the indicated IP address (192.168.0.1), I get a page with User Name - admin, and Password -blank, and an “Apply” button., An I supposed to enter a user name and password of my own, or just use “admin” and “password”? I’ve tried both ways and still can’t get my TV/devices connected. Can I (should I) reset my router?wifi to “factory settings

SBG7600AC2 can't connect due to password

I can't connect to Internet because of WiFi password, it always says "check password and try again". But password is right for sure, I wasn't change it, it is default. And I checked many times, I know it's right. I don't know why I can't connect. This is what I see in the mobile app (screenshots), I use Surfboard central app (my phone not support another app named "arris Surfboard manager") . please help

Smart thermostat disconnects from new Surfboard due to "intersecting bands?"

Greetings! I followed the recommendation for a Surfboard for our smart thermostat (see link).The thermostat disconnects and reconnects during the day. Even when connected, the connection to the company’s server is lost. Yesterday, the HVAC tech said it’s because the two bands do not run parallel but occasionally intersect. The thermostat doesn’t know what to do since it requires 2.4, so it disconnects. He suggested contacting ARRIS to see if the router can be programmed for parallel signals. Any ideas? Thank you!

SB8200 in warranty. All lights stuck on. no internet

My internet stopped working and when I went to reset my modem I noticed something odd, the lights aren’t going off. Now of course when I unplug it they go off but when I plug it back in they immediately turn fully back on. i tried resetting it with what I think is the reset button on the back (there is a hole but it’s not labeled) and also tried the IP for internet reset but it’s not coming up.

Very strange.Can NOT log laptops, ipad or either phone into internet. connects to router but will not get an internet connection. ARRIS Vip7300

Hi, I have a reciever from Mtel (CommScope Arris VIP7300) that uses tech4home Notus M1 remote. It has some app Branded from Arris and provided by CommScope to configure the remote to integrate with the TV but the app errors out with code 5003 or 5002 and i cannot program the remote and the support line is unable to help me sort this issue out? Commscope forwarded me to contact you for help.Thank you,
