Most websites not connecting with SBG7600AC2

I have Xfinity with the SBG7600AC2 modem router. Download speed is great but webpages are not loading. Netflix, Amazon and Facebook load just fine. Google searches work great but when I click on link it never loads. I’m not sure if the problem is with the router or Xfinity. I did a factory re-set but didn’t help. Anyone know what’s up? Thanks

I cannot seem to find anywhere how to remove or release the IP address for an unknown device. I can see the list of connected devices but I cannot release or remove their connection. Is this possible?

Intermittent connection on my G34

Well I live in an Xfinity area that has not yet flipped the switch on the upcoming docsis 4 integration (it's coming) and my g34 is behaving much like everyone else's. Yes I have the new firmware and yes the issue persists. And it's a weird one. The 5g wifi vanishes. The wired connection also drops. Simultaneously. The most frustrating part is the blue indicator light does not indicate a network interruption

G34 - After a power failure, why is it necessary to change the MAC filtering back to "Allow All" to get reconnected - G34

Our area has random power failures (2 per month). Whenever we experience a power failure, we are unable to connect to the internet when using MAC filtering set to “ALLOW”. We have to change the setting back to “ALLOW ALL” then login, then logout and change the filtering back to “ALLOW” which permits us to login with no issues. This is a major PITA. Can someone explain why this is necessary? ISP is Xfinity.

Modem shows blue light , but router keeps coming up red

Router has worked fine for several months. Today it will not receive the signal form the modem, which is online, even with multiple restarts of both devices.

slow/intermittent internet connection on sbg10

I was wondering if it is possible for someone to be piggybacking off my internet? I do have it set up on a password, but my internet is starting to run slower, and also buffering a lot. Would this be N router question or not? If it is, is there a way to find out?

Puma Chipset Defect SBG8300 (packet loss latency jitter)

Been having around 1% packet loss for a while now and I think it may be the modem/router. I have ethernet and got a new cable (my ISP is Xfinity). They told me that “a few percent packet loss is normal” which doesn’t make sense because I am hard wired. Is the PUMA 7 chipset inside causing this?Attached below are 2 pictures of a packet loss test.👍Thanks I would appreciate any help 20 second test, 2440 and 2456 bytes, 300 pings a second. 3 minute test, 142 and 158 bytes, 30 pings a second.

Firmware version for T25

I found that my T25 has the following firmware:Firmware Name: TS11.02.057.12_092820_711.PC20.03Firmware Build Time: Mon Sep 28 17:37:14 EDT 2020 Three years seems awfully old. I contacted Comcast, and they supposedly pushed a firmware update, but I didn’t see a change. Does anyone know what the latest firmware version is? Thanks.

Had several instances where my month old G34 drops my 5.0 band but 2.4 stays unaffected. We’re on Xfinity. Recycling the router reconnects both bands WiFi connection. Any insight on how to prevent the dropping of 5.0?

My SB6190 has intermittent drops throughout the day. I just bought/activated it 3-days ago. My service provider is Spectrum. I work from home and cannot have this happen so frequently. Please help.

G36 2.5 port and 1gb issue

My new Arris G36 is not showing my PC plugged into the 2.5 GB port in connected devices but connects to the internet; my devices connecting to my mesh network do show up in the connected devices page.I can see through my isp’s monitor page that the 2.5 GB port PC is getting an IP to itself on the 2.5 GB port. While the 1 GB port uses the 192.168.x.x ip the modem gives, the 2.5 GB port uses 212.164.x.x ip from the isp.The wan is pulling 146.115.x.x from the IP.In the advanced menu is Mac Bridging; it is not on but it says in Help that it is. “A bridged device will get an IP address directly from your internet provider and not have access to your local network."This sounds like what is happening. Arris Tech doesn't understand and me had to do full resets, etc. Isp has no clue what I am talking about.Anyone know?

SBG8300 no longer works with xfinity

One day my SBG8300 lost internet connection from Xfinity, Xfinity told me it was the modem, so I bought a new SBG8300. It also had no internet connection. Xfinity then told me they updated the area network and the SBG8300 was no longer compatible with Xfinity. I needed an update for the SBG8300.I looked and there is no software update for SBG8300. Is there a solution for this?

SB8200 - Not responding to 192.168.100.1

My laptop is directly connected to an SB8200 that is up and running on my ISP(Cox). I can access the modem via cell phone app, but I cannot access via PC. When I browse to 192.168.100.1, there is no response. I can browse the internet, so the modem is active and working. The phone app does not provide access to settings (bridge mode). The IPCONFIG (commandline) lists a gateway IP that does not respond. I’ve tried a lot of other typical modem IPs - nothing enables access to sign into the modem. We have tried numerous ways to sign in, so please do not suggest the methods described in the manual - BEEN THERE - DONE THAT - IT DOESN’T WORK.

slow speed internet connection and unable to access any of the website in SB8200

I’ve been using very very slow internet for quite some time now , I use xfinity service but purchased your device . Look I know xfinity updates their modems automatically but I’ve never updated your device since purchase . Anyways, I’m suspecting that something is wrong a not only one . I noticed my router is open ? So it says on site . And upnp is the settings it’s currently on. Now I can’t connect at all and I’m gettin an error message saying he following : Internet Connection not availableInternet connection is currently NOT available on your mobile device.ARRISERROR CODE: 0002-1002TROUBLESHOOT before contacting support I’ve tried my best to find ways to figure things out in my own but I keep reaching a dead end and login in also fail cuz it says it locked due to fail attempt when I’ve barely have ever tried too do soi looked up the s/n [edit: removed personal information]and it points me to this device in fact being the sb8200 correct me if im wrong
