I recently replaced my older Arris modem that was cheaper and had gone out. I bought this one that was supposedly better, but it drops my internet connection on my devices everyday. This is a HUGE problem because I work from home. All devices are wireless except one, but I did not have this issue with my cheaper Arris model. I can only use Xfinity due to lack of providers for my area so I’m stuck with them but this wasn’t happening before I changed devices. I have my computer and a couple other main devices connected to the 2.4G and others connected to the 5.0G do not overloading the 2.4G. I have reset the modem, and disconnected and reconnected devices multiple times. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? I have to have fast internet for work.
Roku (2) units are not connecting to network, but phone, Roku TV are connecting. I have rebooted the Arris MDL: SBG8300 twice. Unplugged the roku devises but still reading as "not connected". Green power and wifi lights are on and solid.
I just purchased an ARRIS Surfboard S34 as I upgraded to 800 mbs speed. I have internet connection with a constant blue light on the front of the modem but the connection on the back of the modem is flashing yellow. Xfinity says it is not a problem on their end. This modem was a recommendation from Xfinity. What can the issue be? Thanks for any help.

Hi, I recently bought a new to me Lenovo Laptop with Windows 11 on it. It works fine at my business with the Verizon router but at home with the Arris on Xfinity it will not allow me to access the internet ? It says “connected” but no internet access. I am using Firefox but have tried Edge and Chrome just to be sure it wasnt the browser. Any thoughts ? Is anyone else having the same issue ? The Modem/Router is probably 4 years old ? I cant seem to find a way to check to see if it has the latest firmware. I have a desktop, two phones and a tablet and all of them connect just fine.

I’m using EERO mesh wifi which works GREAT. We have Comcast/Xfinity for internet and voice. We want a router to tie into the T25 for our devices.
I bought this SBG6580 on ebay and could not get it to work for due to “invalid passcode”. After hard reset, the default passcode still does not work. How can I get a valid passcode for this to work?

I need a firmware update file for my SB8200. I know it was mentioned to my ISP’s support line and they refused stating that they are not allowed to connect to customer owned modems and process updates. At this point, I cannot update my modem and i’m having connection issues with reset connects and VPN drops which are impacting my ability to do my job. Can anything be done to get me an update file, please?
Hello,We need to know how we go about getting current firmware images for our SB modems. We are a small CATV provider who uses CASA vccap for a CMTS. We own our own DOCSIS provisioning system, so we need to add current SB modem firmware to our modem firmware server. We switched from Touchstone modems to Surfboard modems as Touchstone no longer exists. we are mostly using SB8200’s and SB8300’s but we do have some other models CheersCorey
I am just trying to register my Arris S34 and it keeps telling me the serial# is incorrect.
So my wifi has been going on for like a month and a half now. I tested some things and found out it only happens when I load up a game on my computer. This has never happened before. Could be fine all day until I load a game up on my computer
Hi I have a G36 and my internet is constantly going in and out. It start about 2 weeks ago. It goes out on everything PC, phone, tv, Etc. not sure why this is happening
I have an older ipod touch. I'm trying to get Wifi but not connecting. I have Xfinity internet. I tried both SSID on the box but won't let me join. All other electronics hook up fine. Airplane mode is off. Any suggestions would be helpful

After a recent Xfinity outage I am unable to connect to the internet using my desktop which has an ethernet cable plugged in the back of the modem. I can connect wirelessly on my laptop. I have tried two different desktops, three ethernet cables and all four sockets in the back of the modem. The error message on the computer is that the device does not have a valid IP configuration. I have reset the IPv6 and IPv4 addresses automatically, and also typed them in manually but the computers still cannot identify the modem. Thank you
