w31 stops midway through setup after firmware updage 0000-1401

As you are experiencing the error code : 0000-1401 it indicates “The download of your firmware failed”.

For proper trouble shooting further follow the below steps:

• Reboot your router 
• After rebooting the router the firmware file will get downloaded 
• later follow the steps that appears on the SBC App screen 
• After trying  all these steps if the issue persists 
•  Reset the router and modem for a minute 
• Setup the SBC app from start
