I cannot get past the first portion of the mesh wifi system setup. Stuck trying to establish network connection.
I brought this from Amazon originally, I was never able to get the device past the Bluetooth connecting stage of setup..(the very first thing after plugging it in) we called the help line and spent over an hour on the phone with a Arris tech. They couldn't fix it, so they had us return ours and they would send us new ones. We are having the same issue with the new ones... we have done everything we found online and nothing is working.
After a year of using the W31 mesh, all a sudden, the satellite led turned red. I did a power cycle, the satellite turned back on, but couldn't connect to the main router.Then I did a factory reset on the satellite (holding reset button for 10 seconds). When it came back, I tried to add the satellite, its stuck on the "Connecting to your Satellite" screen. No matter how many times I tried (even reinstalling the app), the app can't find the satellite. Help.
I have a W130 that is all working fine from a netwrok point of view, but when I try to go into the android (v13) app (v 4.3.4) it was asking me to go through the setup procedure again (tried on two android devices, Phone and tablet) but would loop after the model was selected, and it was searching for the device. (I am sitting next to the main AX7800)I cleared out the cache for the surfboard max app on teh phone, and then it asked me to login with my email.. it sent me the verification code, which I typed in, and then the app loops on that screen.. (been waiting 10 mins on that screen)When I kill that and go back into the app, I get “1 validation error detected at ‘proposedPassword” failed to satisfy constraint:Member must satisfy regular expression pattern: ^[\s]+.*[\s]+$” when I try to sign in again.I then uninstalled the app, and reinstalled it, but I get the same looping on the verification screen (It says code verified at the top, but loops when I say next)Is there an alternate wa
Does the W133 router have a browser interface? If so how to access? Or am I limited to the phone app?
There seems to be conflicting messages on the box / tech specs. For example, specs say Download Speeds: (Wi-Fi 6) speeds up to 7.8 Gbps , yet the box says “perfect for 500 Mbps speed internet plans”. Do i need to get 500Mbps plan or will 2 of these work for a 1000Mbps plan ? I prefer to get the 1000Mbps plan, use the xFinity Gateway and use BridgeMode with these 2 Arris routers. Thanks all!
New W133 Router will not connect via Bluetooth. Have re-installed Surfboard Central several times, went through complete setup process per Community Group forum recommendations, Android devise sees the Max Pro router in Bluetooth settings and pairing mode, Max Pro continues with blue blinking light- will not connect. Tried Factory reset to no avail. Also using Arris Surfboard S33 Modem.
Is there a way to do this that I’m missing?My current setup is Xfinity gateway (modem, wifi turned off) → Surfboard W30 (primary router) → Surfboard W30 (satellite) → Roku (hardwired, device I want a static IP for)I have the Surfboard Central app installed on my phone and although I can see all the devices on my network and their IPs I don’t see any controls.I’ve tried connecting through my PC’s internet browser in various ways (all result in “unable to connect” errors):Using the router’s IP address (192.168.7.1 per IPconfig) and variations (192.168.7.0, 192.168.1.1, 192.168.100.1, etc) Both hardwired to the primary router and through wifi With and without the modem connected, including after unplugging the modem from router and restarting routerI cannot find a way to connect through a web portal, but also can’t find any controls for individual devices in the app. I must be missing something.
My SURFboard mAX W130 has been working for over a year. The power went out for a few minutes and now none of my devices can see the network. Modem is on and the device has the blue ring (cable is working) but the network name, nor any factory reset name shows as available on phones or laptops. Using the app, I get Error Code:0014-1202, can’t find out how to get it to work. Any ideas?
Will the max pro Mesh System work with a g34 modem/router
I have this same error when trying to install a W31 satellite at my moms house . Yes, I used her cell phone with the app.. Had no issues when installing a W31 satellite in my home using the app on my cell phone. I have reset the W31 satellite unit several times by pressing reset button for 15 seconds. I have also confirmed bluetooth on her phone has paired with the W31. But, everytime I go through installation I get the “Bluetooth Connection Failed” error message every time as per image above. I have been through this process about 10 times with the same result. Also, light on the W31 is flashing amber, green, and blue. Eventually, the W31 would not even go through the forst part of the install. Seems like a broken W31 to. me. Any suggestions short of returning the W31 to seller?

Regarding Arris mAX PRO W31, is the Link Aggregation Control (LACP, 802.3ad) feature available and supported when the router is in bridge mode?
Current setup includes (1) Main node and (1) Satellite node, both model W31.The Satellite node firmware has been updated to version AXR.0813.231113.8, however the Main node firmware is stuck on version AXR.0612.221229.15.The Main node has been rebooted several times, and firmware remains on the old version. Is the update failing?
w31 stops midway through setup after firmware updage 0000-1401 Please help
