G34 - Attempt change Password via Mobile Application – SURFboard Central - Refuses to update

I set up my new router for the first time today.  have attempted multiple times to update the password via the Mobile Application – SURFboard Central. The app appears to be processing the change for a flash in the edit pop-up, then edit pop-up closes and the visible password is the old (default) password. I then waited 2 hours to see if it took a little time for the new password to propagate to the router. It has yet to work. I attempted again, still not updating.

May  I know on which device you are using the surfboard central app?

If that is a apple or android device could you please let us know the version of your device.

If even after uninstalling, restarting modem and reinstalling app if you are facing the same issue while configuring the WIFI credentials then we would suggest you to try accessing the web interface through the app and setup WIFI. Please follow the steps mentioned on the below link to configure wifi.
