I bought an Arris G36 surfboard modem and connected it to wow network. At times of the day the modem/router stays connected but Internet goes out I proceed to reset router and I get connection again. I have spoke to my ISP provider and they refreshed signals multiple times and have said their is no firmware update to be had. I even reset the gateway it helped some but it is now repeating this issue is my modem faulty what can I do?
Are you facing this intermittent connection issue only on the devices connected to the modem Wi-Fi network or even with direct connection to the modem?
Since your service provider has already referenced the signal level, could you please share the current values of the modem signal level to isolate the issue.

What are the lowest and highest SNR values that you have?
What are the lowest and highest power values that you have?
UPSTREAM
Can you please confirm how many locked upstream channels you have?
What are their power values?
