No internet (s33 + aruba 315)

Howdy, just moved to a new location and we're trying to get things running. We purchased an s33 for use with xfinity and a friend gave us an aruba 315 for use instead of a router. This will eventually change to being modem > switch > cable run to 2 rooms > AP, but for now we're just trying to get wireless working.

The modem is registered/activated and the blue light is constant. We've power cycled the modem and AP, swapped cables, etc but still no internet. Hardwiring from modem to a laptop doesn't give a connection either.

What next steps should we be taking here? Comcast has already been out and checked the coax and it was "good to go" but I'm less inclined to take their word.

An update so far. Bad network cables were the culprit and hardlined is working now. We are unable to adjust network name or access controls though. Does the s33 brick this even if we have a connection point through an AP?
