I have Cox internet and they have tried rebooting my SB8200 5-6 times and it still shows a “Channel state error” from their end. How do I clear this error?  The Cox rep says it usually clears in 3-4 reboots.

After rebooting sb8200 5 to 6 times cox confirms “Channel state error”. Let us do a Factory Reset.

Please check IPV4 address and let us know: 

To check IPV4 :Please connect modem directly to a computer/laptop and check IPV4 by typing “cmd” after pressing windows key and letter “R” you will be directed to blank screen please type “ipconfig “ and press “Enter” key to check on IPV4 .
