I have Spectrum currently as my WiFi provider. I am really thinking about purchasing the Arris Surfboard Max Pro WiFi 6 Router. Will I need to keep Spectrum as my WiFi provider or just purchase a modem for the Arris Surfboard Router to work?

You do need a modem. I’d check with spectrum as in some area’s, they still don’t have a modem rental fee. If they do, then I’d buy one. If there isn’t, I’d go with their provided one.
