Online light on the modem should be solid to get proper internet connection if that is blinking that indicates you modem is not getting proper connection from your service provider so could you please try restarting or power cycling modem for a minute and also check your modem status on the Xfinity app.


The top 3 lights are solid but the 2.4 and 5 lights are the ones that are flashing


Wi-Fi lights used to be flashing that indicates transmitting data to the devices. It is very normal behavior.
