Configured Wi-Fi in G36

After an initial setup, I configured my wireless network to have 3 SSIDs. 
1) Main Family Network

2) Guest Network

3) IOT devices

this setup took up a considerable amount of time and required some assistance from Arris Support. 
 

without provocation or request, my G36 reset itself to its factory settings. 
​​​​​​​any insight as to why this happened and how I can prevent it would be greatly appreciated.
