I’ve set up this gateway several times and the only problem I had was that all the old SSIDs keep popping up in my wifi settings. But now I’ve reset the gateway once again, and my computers, etc will hook up to it with the default settings. But when I try to set it up using the Surfboard app, I get to the point where I scan in the QR code on the gateway, and it is apparently reading it wrong. It gives me a message to “move closer to the mAX router.” I don’t have the mAX router, as noted above. I can’t get past this point, and if I try logging in through my browser, it’ll let me change the SSIDs, but when I change my admin/password info for security, I get locked out, and can’t get back into my admin site.
What the hey is going on????
I hope somebody can help me with this!
