Activate USB on Arris TG3452 modem/router

Forum|alt.badge.img

After stumbling around for a week and three chats with WOW, in the last chat I was told the USB on the router is not active.  I would like to use it for NAS.  I am believing, from the instances of trial and error, that it is a firmware issue and hopefully there is a series of commands that can activate this port.

some of those devices have USB but its only for power and not for connecting devices. As far as I can see, the manuals for it all list “for future support”. and ISP supplied devices rarely get updated. so I wouldn’t be hopeful on using it.

TG3452 is not supported by Arris. Arris supports only the retail products that are available on surfboard.com but not the ISP lease products.
