Although I applaud the person that originated the idea of outsourcing the support dept to unpaid customers, that was truly innovative. Now, of course everyone does it. In the old days no one would have the audacity to expect paying customers to have to provide their own support. Especially with known problems like the chances of someone knowing more than you could be as low as 1:1000 (admittedly in my case it’s more like 1:8) But that’s assuming anyone actually answers your question.I’ve had 2 questions up for almost a month. I got one reply each, right away. The first person either didn’t really read my question, or maybe I phrased it incorrectly. But I tried to answer their followup questions and restate my original question better, but never got the followup reply. The second person asked a simple followup question which I answered but also never got 2nd reply.I don’t blame the customers. It’s not their job to answer my questions. But it should be somebody’s job.
Looking to upgrade my SB6141 just because. It’s perfect in every way. Small. Square. Black. Blinky lights. What is the deal with this disgusting-looking design on this S33? The look of it is disturbing. I want it to pass 1’s and 0’s not look like...well I’m not sure what you were going for but, it sucks.
So I have a W6B that I’ve been using for a week or 2. I’m not actually much of a gamer so I’ve been using it for my 4k tv. The tv I have has a pretty trash wireless card in it. It still works but you can tell with the navigation/watching streaming services (especially live) that its limiting the speeds and causing hesitation with usage. So I connected the W6B to it. I’m connected through a 2.5gig switch for the master unit and then going around 20-30ft to the satellite unit. And its super fast. I’ve got no problem maxing out my 1.2gig connection speed when I connect my laptop to it for speedtesting. Sadly, the tv is limited to a 100mbps connection but with the latency improvement features, the tv is much more responsive. Navigation is faster, loading movies is faster, I don’t get buffering with live tv broadcasts. I’d prior been using a powerline setup but found this more convenient and easier to use. It connected right out of the box between the main unit and satellite without any use
