tg3442 ip addresses seems to get reassigned frequently and this causes all connections to be lost

I changed provider to get a good deal on my internet connection, so same network but a new modem. Since changing provider to companies that uses tg34 modems, I have had frequent short dropouts in the connection. When I recieved my tg3442 modem from the new provider this has gotten much worse. Looking in the modem logs it seems as the internal dhcp server whenever this happens makes changes to the ip addresses used even when a static lease is configured. Arris TG1682 Modem/Router wont reset password after factory resetting

So I factory reset the router last night. Now the default password and user will not work that I found on the bottom of the router. Ive factory reset multiple times and still nothing. Tired doing the 30-30-30 method and I’ve even used the preshared key and still saying incorrect user or password.

Question about Arris NVG558HX Verizon

We have a customer who has this unit. We are noticing problems with this LTE Router Internet Gateway. We have multiple devices that will randomly not be able to communicate with our AWS servers. No matter what we do the only thing that can get the units back online and communicating is Resetting the NVG558HX to Factory defaults. It appears it is blacklisting these devices, however, there is nowhere in the router settings that shows our devices are blocked. they show that they are connected. I really need to speak to a tier2 or 3 agent if possible.

ARRIS Vip7300

Hi, I have a reciever from Mtel (CommScope Arris VIP7300) that uses tech4home Notus M1 remote. It has some app Branded from Arris and provided by CommScope to configure the remote to integrate with the TV but the app errors out with code 5003 or 5002 and i cannot program the remote and the support line is unable to help me sort this issue out? SBR AC1900P Router - Can no longer change password

I can no longer change the password on my Arris SBR1900AC. I can change the username, but not the password. See screenshot attached. In the “Change Password” Dialog, there is no field to “Enter New Password” I’m on a Mac Pro, Early 2009, running 10.15.17, and Safari 15.6.1.The Mac is connected to the router via ethernet.Haven’t had any issues until recently. Any help much appreciated

DG3450A modem not connecting to Zscaler VPN

Hello, I am trying to connect to zscaler for work and am currently not able to. My ISP says they do not block any ports so the only other thing that may be blocking the connection is the modem. Is there a way to find out if the modem is blocking the connection?

Upgrade Arris DG1670 to newer model

I am using Sparklight and considering stopping the lease on their Arris DG1670. This is an old modem/router. Any recommendations for a newer model. the speed I am using is up to 300 GPS. I would need the WIFI to be 2.4 GHz N + 5 GHz AX.If I continue my lease with Sparklight they would provide a Hitron Coda 57. I have not had experience with the HItron. Any thoughts?Any feedback would be appreciated.

Arris NVG578LX - All google speakers now not working correctly

Hi. Really odd one here. I had a new router around 2 months ago. Changed the ssid to match the old one. Been working fine for the last 2 monthsThe last few days they have all being playing up, but I can't understand why.“There is a glitch”, “something went wrong”. “Your device is not set up”(but it is)We have 3 google home, 3 gen 1 minis and 2 gen 2 minis. All playing up.I've removed them all from home, reset them all. Re connected them, but I'm getting the same issues. Router is Arris NVG578LX, ISP is youfibre.I can't see any setting to change in the router. No AP isolation.Any ideas please.

Surfboard cm9200 connected without internet

Been without wifi for about a month, my dad hasn't reached out to our provider as far as I know and I'm not sure if the cables leading to the house are alright. The front of the modem has two lights (one for power indication and one for internet connectivity). When working correctly, it should have two solid blue lights. The internet connectivity light (the bottom one) is blinking on and off blue (and has been for about 3 weeks.)We have a splitter setup that splits the coax cable into two that go into the cable box and the modem. I've tried disconnecting from the splitter and going straight to the modem and it still doesn't work. Router appears to be working just fine, and I've already tried rebooting, unplugging, letting the modem and router cool down, anything you can think of. It may be just a problem with our provider but if there's any tips or things I can try it would be appreciated.

can't get into account after locking the internet

So I went into my surfboard central on the app...brought me to the ip address which brought my account up, I disabled the internet/wifi..because u know when kids are home for days and don't help..you give it to them where either hurts lolol..anyways I hurt all of us...I can't get back into the account. The ip address comes up and says I have no internet..well no kidding..I need some help on how to fix all that .Only did that bc the parent section only allows 4 devices to be blocked

reconfigure my ARRIS TG1682 to 802:11 BGN

My SONOS speaker won’t connect to my WI-FI. MODEM is ARRIS TG1682 which has been discontinued, so is no longer supported. From Sonos I understand it needs to be reconfigured from 802:11AC to 802:11BGN. Apparently Sonos has upgraded so previous connection no longer works. Any ideas on how to proceed?

Is there an android app so I can control my Arris TG3452A Router Cable Modem?

The Android app store seems sketchy. I’m located in Canada. App SURFboard Central is made by Vantiva USA LLC. 100k downloads but not a single review. Is this the right app? And does anybody know if it will support my cable modem? Looking for a quicker way to make adjustments to my kids ipad connections (shut them off when they’re not listening to me LOL!)
