A few questions.Locked out after trying what I thought was a good password too many times.How long before it will let me try again?Should I go back to factory settings then create another new password?Working one connecting my new HP printer today 2/6/26.Purchased my Arris - E46D - 5G modem/router about 5 years ago. Is it time for a new one?Thanks!

 Error Code 0000-1604 OR 0001-1402Every time I create an SSID name and password, a Bluetooth connection error occurs, and I'm unable to create the SSID. I've tried many times, but it keeps showing the same error. Firmware: AXR.0814.240522.10MAC: 60:D2:48:E9:9B:E0

Unable to login to SURFboard iOS app! Please help!

Existing password to login was not validated. Tried “password”. Invalid. Did 3 factory resets. Unresolved. Tried S/N last 8 digits. Invalid. I can see from initial screen that modem was factory reset. however it will not validate passwords. How to flash whatever is stuck in this modem?

Internet speed is slow.  Sparklight says they are unable to update the software on their end because they keep getting an error message.  how do i fix this.  

Is there a mesh wifi router that is compatible with a arris surfboard g20.  I am having issues with wifi reaching other rooms and devices.

192.168.7.1 won’t appear… no online troubleshooting has helped

One year old modem, worked fine until two months ago, then dropped every so often. Three days ago it dropped and will not connect on reboot.  Called Cox, they declared it not working and gave me a loaner.  Tried swapping back the SB8200 and it still has the same problem.  Appears to boot correctly, but seem slower than I remember.

I have a new G34 and have connected to my ISP ( Xfinity). I have downloaded the mobile app and presently have Wi-Fi in my house using the factory SSID username and password. I am trying to change my SSID and password and so far have failed. I enter a new SSID and password with the required alphanumeric characters and nothing happens. Initially I was getting the "blinking circle" and now nothing is happening. I have read the directions and followed them as listed but no luck. Any advice would be appreciated Thank you

I need to change the email address associated with our app. How can I do this? I shouldn't have to restart the whole process to change an email address 

How do I change the password to my router?

I lost the username/password for my SB8200.  I’ve tried several suggested ways to factory reset it, but it does not reset the username/password back to the default.I’ve tried:power cycling it pressing reset button until front lights flash - 10 seconds. pressing and holding reset button for 30 seconds unplugging co-axial cable, and performing the above steps unplugging co-axial cable, and ethernet cable and performing the above steps unplugging co-axial cable, pressing reset for 30 seconds, holding reset and unplugging power for 30 seconds, still holding reset and plugging in power for another 30 seconds leaving it totally unplugged overnight for 10 hoursNone of that has worked.  Are there other options?  It is under warranty until 2027.  It’s never been registered with my ISP.  Arris online chat never appears to be online, I’ve been trying for days.

I use this motem/router with Cox Cable’s 1GB gigablast plan.  Every day my WiFi has been intermittently cutting out where I’ve had to unplug to reset the motem over and over again.  I’ve contacted the ISP, and they aren’t seeing any outages regarding signal drops, and are saying this must be a router issue.  How can I get this issue resolved?  Additionally, when it is working, my devices in the very next room are getting pretty lackluster MBPS download speeds.  In the middle of the night, the signal drops turn off my WiFi baby monitor which is a little unsettling.  Please let me know what I can do, as the ISP is saying this is undoubtedly a router issue.

I purchased a S34 secondhand through Amazon. Apparently its registration information is still part of another provider's system. I need to have the old information deleted so I can register it with my ISP.  How do I have this done?

How do I delete old wifi networks from my router?

Just got the w122 mesh system with the w11 satellite. I got the main router to work but can't get the satellite to work. It goes through the whole process, says its been added and that it will start a network optimization and that it will take 15 minutes but then about a half hour later I get this screen. So I try restarting my modem, restarting my router, and factory resetting my satellite and starting over and have tried atleast 10 times on a galaxy s24 and an iPhone 15 (both on their latest firmware and uninstalled/reinstalled the surfboard central app) and always get the same thing. 

I recently got the G34 and it works well.  I need to move it from one side of the room to the other, and I wondered: do you need to ‘aim’ it.  Like does it have better wi-fi coverage emitting from the front (or sides), or is it omnidirectional?I was saying to my wife: if you are shopping for microphones, you can see the polar pattern of the directionality of a cardioid mic.  Is there any directionality to the wi-fi distribution of the G34?Thanks!

Hello,I recently purchased an Arris SB8200v3 modem because my prior modem seemed to be failing (less than 10Mbps download speeds - tech came out to check and said the cable was fine).I activated the new modem with Astound, but since then I have not gotten more than about 35Mbps download speeds. I’ve done several hard resets (methods: unplugging power, pushing reset button, both when coax connected and disconnected from the modem), but nothing seems to be working. I have a 1Gig plan with Astound, and, in the past, generally, I’ve had very fast speeds. I’ve tried to troubleshoot using information from other topics/websites, but nothing is working. Hello, I have an issue with my router that has been going on for about 1 week . We constantly lose our wifi and the router then will blink green . This happens about 6-10 times a day. My question is … Is there an update that needs to happen or is this non router related ? 

Some reason when i enter my model SN it indicates “The Serial Number and Model Number that you entered do not match”

I am not able to sign into my routers GUI (192.168.0.1) . I login with the correct credentials and it gives me an error of "you must sign in first". Then when I try to log back in, it says someone is already logged in. Please assist! Thank you,W. Bower

I bought the new modem. After setting up, i could not change the name SSID and password as I want to.

internet speeds are slow, under 100mbps, when i was using the spectrum modem and router, averaged over 300…what might I be doing wrong?
