I have a Arris OBBD Router that I need to have the PW reset.

I got a ARRIS G34 cable modem with WIFI.I had to remove the Surfboard app on my Samsung S25 ULTRA and reinstall it.having trouble connecting to it. I think it’s looking for the original log on info like G34-BF59-2 or G34-BF59-5G-2 and the numerical password. I have since changed the WIFI names and passwords.is it possible to change one back to the one of above settings and log back in with the app.or do i need to reset the entire modem…..why can’t they make it easy for people to connect the app to the modem.

 1.using the GUI interface, I can access the G18 display on my Windows 11 laptop.  How do I change the G18 password of the logon portion?2.I have the Surfboard Central app installed on my iphone, which lets me access the G18 display through the GUI interface option in HOME.  When I downloaded the Central app onto my iPad, why does the app go into activation mode, and fails with Wi-Fi Communication Failure - ERROR CODE: 0000-1614, when my iPad already has the wi-fi connection with the 5G SSID?

New G34 from Amazon, the only page I can connect to is the router page, but the modem shows no issues and I can ping just fine. (Edited private information)

I bought a G36 to run with Ethernet for home business reasons. Wi-Fi is activated, but I've still not understood how I can run the G36 using Ethernet only.I'm using Windows11 Pro.May I ask for help with this? I'm just going too fast.  Thank you 

Can I add a network booster or mesh device to my existing router for better coverage in my home and does ARRIS have compatible equipment?

My door lock can only be connected to a 2.4G network and my router flips between the two modes and inadvertently kicking it off.  Comcast said that i can set this up. Can anyone send me video on how to do this? 

What is the power consumption for ARRIS SURFboard SBG10?I need the spec to determine what size battery backup power supply to use.

I have had the same Internet service, the same modem, the same router and all of the same devices in my house since I moved in over two years ago. Last month, one of my TVs, one of my ring cameras, and one of my smart outlets stopped working. All at the same time. When I search for the network on these devices the network does not even pop up as an option to connect to, however, at the same time the network is popping up on my phone my other TVs, my other cameras, my computer, computers, etc. It is literally just the one TV, the one camera and the one smart outlet that do not work. They do not connect to the Wi-Fi network. I reached out to my Internet service and they said everything is fine that it’s either a problem with the modem or a problem with the devices. I find it hard to believe that three different devices all failed at the same exact time which leads me to believe that it’s a modem issue. When I was doing some research, I found that some devices only can support 2 GB speed

I have been experiencing intermittent internet outages and WIFI calls dropping.

I am not able to sign into my routers GUI (192.168.0.1) . I login with the correct credentials and it gives me an error of "you must sign in first". Then when I try to log back in, it says someone is already logged in. Please assist! Thank you,W. Bower

I’m hoping someone here has experienced this or found a workaround. I recently installed an ARRIS Surfboard G18 (DOCSIS 3.1, Wi-Fi 6) on Astound / RCN, and I’m running into a serious issue where HTTPS / encrypted traffic is being blocked or flagged as “not secure.” Symptoms: Multiple devices (iPhone, computer) show “connection is not private” or certificate/privacy warnings Secure sites (HTTPS) intermittently fail or won’t load This happens across different browsers and devices, so it doesn’t appear to be device-specific  Important details: The G18 firmware forces app-only management via SURFboard Central The web UI (192.168.0.1) is locked and inaccessible The app does not expose system time / NTP, SSL inspection, or advanced firewall controls ISP (Astound/RCN) attempted reprovisioning and troubleshooting but could not resolve the issue  From what I can tell, this may be related to: An incorrect system clock / NTP sync Hidden HTTPS or TLS inspection in the G18 firmware App-managed firm

Currently we use Arris DG860A modems in our network.I am testing an ARRIS SBG6950AC2 and it is not being able to connect to the internet.Our C9 see it and register it but no internet connection.It’s there a difference between these two?I thought this would be a plug and play thing.In checking the modem all settings look the same, but the WAN does not pick up anything. 

All of the official retailers are out of stock.  They all seem to have the older S33 though.  Does anyone know what is going on?

Hello, I have a mAX® Wi-Fi® 6E (W61/W161) set up with separate SSID for each frequency band. I'm experiencing the 6 GHz band disconnecting and reconnecting even when there is no roaming. When looking at the broadcast of the SSID, it appears to be crashing and restarting. The 5 GHz is stable.  The 2.4 GHz seems to have a lot of interference and my IoT devices keep getting dropped and reconnected throughout the day. I've tried changing channels for all of these but can't find any that are stable. I've tried running with and without the satellite as well. Is this really the norm? 

I have a brand new G36, which I’ve finally managed to get it fully set up and working, and I want to change the password.Going through the web interface, it tells me to change the password in the app ( “WARNING: To keep your account password in sync, it is recommended to update it using the SURFboard® App rather than changing it here.” ). But according to this post you can’t change the password in the app.So how do I change the password in the app?

I have had trouble with my modem not accessing the internet each light would flash and go solid until the internet light, when it tries to look for the internet it flashes faster than the others and then resets back to upload a couple times before going back to download and trying it all over again I have factory reset it and contacted spectrum do I need to contact someone and then have customer support reset it themselves?

Where’s the password located on the DOCSIS 3.1

i have a G34 and I’m getting Serial Number and Model don’t match when i try to register it.

I contacted Xfinity because my network is not showing up on my computer nor phone, and I have no clue what the password is on my SB6190. Xfinity said they tripled checked everything, and my modem is showing online but, I have no network showing on my computer nor phone.  We restarted the modem over and over and still nothing, and they did a lot of troubleshooting.  For a brief second, surfboard came up, but it disappeared.  They said to contact you guys but, of course it’s a Saturday and no one is available. How do I find my network and what do I need to do?   I would really appreciate some suggestions.
