I accidentally deactivated 5G which turned off internet. Can't login to enable. Model is SBG7600AC2

Having WIFI issues and internet provider says all is well in their end. Bought a new SBG7400AC2 and WIFI is showing up but is VERY slow and unresponsive. All the lights are on as they should be. Any ideas to help resolve?

We got a the new modem through amazon, it is the SBG7600AC2, the device worked fine the first day however it started to frequently resets on its own. We thought maybe the cords were the problem and had it replace. We have also moved the device in a more open space. We contacted amazon about it and they sent a replacement but that one also had problems…. the first one had intermittent issues and the second one had docsis health issues and wouldn’t even connect. I had talked to my service provider about it. Is there any ways to fix the intermittent issues or docsis health issues so i can return one of them at least??

I purchased a new (not renewed) SBG7600AC2 a couple of weeks ago. Within a day, we began having issues with the 2.4ghz network. I changed the security settings based on recommendations on this site. That worked for about 12 hours and then no internet again. We’ve rebooted the router multiple times and although that works, the fix only works for a few hours and then we have no internet again. Most of our devices are now on the 5ghz network but we need the 2.4ghz network for an older but often used laptop. Do we just need to return the router and get a new one? Or is there a fix that will work AND last more than a few hours? I would appreciate any help! Thanks!

I am attempting to setup a SBG7400AC2. Upon connecting the coax and power, the send/receive light continuously flashes and never turns solid as mention in the setup instructions. I thought this was because a firmware update is being performed, however, the update never seems to be completed as the light never stops flashing. What do I need to do to get the send/receive light to go solid?

Just installed the new modem/router and the coverage is much smaller than our old modem. Looking for other’s experience and extender suggestions.

Hello I just got this wifi internet router, and internet service is through spectrum I hooked it up and it acts like it wants to connect but then says no internet, then says I have to activate with a laptop, I don't have a laptop...I called spectrum they told me I have to talk with the people associated with ARRIS sbg7400ac2 router so I don't know what to do I need help with setting this up please and thank you, I feel like I've wasted my money I don't own or have a laptop to activate the router, please if someone could reach out to me and help me with this I'd be so grateful, thank you have a blessed day/night.

I have 2 IP addresses 2603:80A0:1700:5030:367F:E838:983C:1ACB 2603:80A0:1700:5030:3E3E:EC37:E8D5:3640 with no Name, Mac ID or Type. Explain? I believe it's been accessed thru a masked ip. They are wiping out my bandwidth. I even changed the SSID and whoever it is got onto it again.

Having an issue with my modem that was working fine a couple of days ago. Moved into a new place and went to set up the WiFi. Contacted Xfinity and got it set up. They had to send someone out here because the modem wouldn’t activate. He got that activated because the coax wasn’t in the right port on their end but now it’s activated and they can see the modem on their end. we are still having the issue where even though they can see the modem and are sending signal to it, it’s not receiving the signal so our online light just keeps blinking. Every so often the up/down light also starts blinking again. The WiFi pops up in our settings on our phones but says there is no connection and doesn’t load any pages. we have been in contact with Xfinity support and they have strongly been suggesting that it’s an issue with the router which I don’t understand if it has been working fine just a few days ago at the last place. Any help?

WiFi signal is intermittent. Connections are fine using direct Ethernet. I’ve restarted multiple times and have left it unplugged for 48 hours. Signal is there, but intermittency increases with time. Anything I’m missing?

As stated: SBG7600AC2 usb not recognzing 250GB drive. It does recognize 128GB (both sandisk thumb drives). Is there a limit to the drive size? Can you suggest another solution to this? Surfboard SBG7600 powers on but no internet or other indicator lights. Have power cycled many times and even did a few factory resets with no luck. Is unit DOA?

I have been using the Arris SURFboard SBG7400AC2 for many years. Lately it’s been very slow uploading mail on iPad and MacAir laptop, but not iPhone. I think it’s time to upgrade. this is overwhelming. Could use some advice. Have Xfinity cable. We don’t do gaming or work from home. Thank you.

All of my devices are hard wired. Can the WiFi be disabled, or does the router not broadcast if there are no devices connected wireless?

When I run a speed check on my Apple iPhone, I get 279 Mbps on the first floor. The SBG7400AC2 is on second floor. When in the room with the modem, I get as high as 650 Mbps. Can I turn off the Wi-Fi on the modem, maintain the cable input and use another device for Wi-Fi with a device on second floor and another on first floor. I have an option of the first floor being hard wired if needed. This is where I use laptop and stream on main TV. Thanks.

Having issues with Spotify and Android TV box. Never happened to my Netgear cable modem previously. Already turned off firewall - must be something with the settings? Please shed me some light for this - or else I have to buy another cable modem only device...

I just noticed that my Ethernet connection does not work from my modem. The wifi that I use daily is working just fine, but I recently noticed that my only wired connection is no longer working. My only Ethernet connection is my security camera system, and I have not checked to see if it was online in months, so who knows how long this issue has been going on for. I have tried to connect the Ethernet cable to different devices and use different Ethernet cables and reset the modem to no success. I am wondering if there is an easy way to tell if the Ethernet ports are broken or if there is some way to reset them. Both the green and orange lights are always on for all 4 ports even when nothing is connected. Is this normal? Or does this in itself indicate a problem? There was a power surge in my neighborhood a year ago. Could this have damaged the Ethernet ports but not the wireless Cabo ability of my modem? Any information would be appreciated. My modem is no longer under warranty.
