ARRIS has partnered with Fing to help optimize your home network in the SURFboard Central App. The Fing scan feature is available in the SURFboard Central app (starting version 4.1.14 ) when paired with a cable modem. Editing client device names is not supported on the SURFboard Central App but it’s available on Fing Desktop. Sign up to download Fing Desktop in the SURFboard Central app free of charge for full network details on your client devices.

Hey SURFboard Community, The speed test service on the SURFboard Central app is not supported at this time, but we are working to resolve this and offer the service again as soon as possible. In the meantime, you get your ISP speed test site from the list below. Alternatively, you can also download the fing mobile app or desktop app to run speed tests, visit fing.com to learn more about these apps. Using the mobile app it will not take my network name change or password. This is on either 5 or 2.4 GHz
Is it possible to update your email in the SURFboard Central app? Or do you have to create a new account? Changed my email address after a relationship went sour and trying to get everything up-to-date for everything that has my old email address. Any help would be appreciated.
I setup my modem using the app, and it worked fine. The problem is I need to change the bridge mode on the modem, and when I logged in on my computer to the modem, it asks for my e-mail and password. It says to use the e-mail and password that I use to login to the app.The problem is that the app only asks for e-mail address. For some reasons, there is no password field. I even logged out on the app, and then re-logged back in without supplying any password.The question is: How do I retrieve my password (if any) that is needed to login to the app? Thank you
I cannot get past the Captcha part of the SURFboard app. It is giving the message that I am not putting in the correct characters. I tried multiple times and even had someone assist me to make sure we agreed on the letters/numbers we are seeing. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix?
Just got a new modem and this app, it failed to work with: Error code is 0002-1002 when hooked to my LAN but when I disabled WiFi on my phone it loaded properly.Much digging in my LAN security settings and logs discovered a hard coded DNS requirement for the Google DNS server 8.8.8.8 that was causing the error.Temporarily opening my security system to allow that connection allowed the app to function, Re-enabling the LAN security results in the original failure and error code.
I set up my router app with a pervious phone and now am having trouble connecting the app with my previous account. I don’t remember the password or the email I used to set it up. The router still works but I can’t connect to the app. Any way to retrieve the password and account email/username?
Previously the application worked correctly, now it no longer works, I already did a factory reset and I can't get it to work I need a solution
I purchased a new modem/router combo but the old one still appears on my account. How do I delete it? It actually says NEW next to the old one.
I tried the “Enable single SSID” option on my SBG7600AC2 and then realized what it did so I tried to undo it. When I undid it, it forced all devices onto the 2.4GHZ option and even if I connect to the one that is 5.0GHZ on my phone or computer, it says it’s not connected to it through SURFboard Central and also my WiFi sucks now when connected to it. I need it to game and watch streams but now it messed up the quality. (Please don’t mind the WiFi names, it’s an inside joke 😅) (edit: delete image with SSID name)
Seems like the Surfboard Central app picks the wrong device as me and so when I run a speed test from the phone it says I’m running it from my TV which is offline etc. Anyway to fix that ?
