S33 | S34

I haven’t received a tracking number on order #61064, please advise.

What’s the status on my order?

Yesterday, during a pretty heavy thunderstorm my trust TP-link Archer AX55 suddenly stopped working-it had the one green powerlight, but no other lights after several reboots and hard resets. So I fire up amazon and order a BE3600, figuring I’d get to use the 2.5 gig ports on both the S34 and the BE3600. Strangely, when I connect the cable from the 2.5 port, there is nothing, no lights no connection. When I connect via the 1 gig port, everything comes to life. Now I had been using the 2.5 port with my old, 1 gig port modem and it seemed to be ok with working with a slower port. Now, with the 2.5 capable router, , the port just goes dead. I have done a ton of power cycles-no difference... Now, i’m not at a crazy high tier with Xfinity, so I likely wouldn’t see much of a difference, if any. but I’m curious- is there a setting I’m missing

I’m trying to register my modem (S34) and my serial number is not recognized, seems like a common occurrence. When I try and access the link www.arris.com /consumersupp ort it redirects to “CommScope”. Is this normal? I don’t see any Arris product page there. Whats up with that?

Just activated a new Surfboard S33. Got the notice to do a one-time network scan using Fing. Now I’m stuck in the spinning little circles of death as it is supposedly scanning. How do I stop this? Nothing else works on the app. And it was the only option on the app...kind of a dollop to use Bing...whatever that is?

I recently upgraded to the S34 and use Xfinity with gig speed. Just tested the speed from the street, and I have 1300 Mbps coming in. When i connect to the S34 modem and my Deco mesh wifi router, i only pull 180-190 Mbps? Xfinity configured the S34 when I activated it on my account. any suggestions? Xfinity shows good signal strength and speed at the street box, at my house port as noted above

Got a brand new S34 from Amazon (sold by Amazon, not some third-party seller), which has now died just over a month after plugging it in, but the website shows “We were unable to locate your serial number. Please check your model number and serial number and try again. This information can be found on the label in back or on the bottom of your device.”, despite copy+pasting the serial from Cox.com/the modem’s admin page.

Hi, I recently switch out my old cable modem to a new S34 with my Xfinity service and every few days my internet stops working. Modem shows connection is still there (Blue light) but no traffic. It will stay this way until I reboot the S34 modem. The log/status shows no obvious error, the log does show some critical issues now and then but does not seem to affect or correspond to the issues I’m having. My old cable modem did not have this issue so I wondering if this is a faulty modem? Mt arris surfboard quits working suddenly yesterday. Tried a different outlet. Checked cords. No lights are lit

looking to register new S34, keep getting model # and serial number don’t match. I am copying them right off the box and materials included with the device. Thoughts?

No matter how many times I enter the Serial No. for my S33, it keeps telling me the serial no and the product selected do not match. I have tried S33 and S33 Kit (whatever thast is)

Brand new (1 month) Arris S33 modem. My internet download speeds get reduced by 50% throughout the day. It lasts for several hours, then recovers to normal download speeds. The modem feels extremely hot, top, sides and especially the metal coax cable connection - almost too hot to touch. Is the modem overheating, causing it to throttle the bandwidth?

When at 2.5 it’s averaging about 27 5G about 400. Hardwired 900. So I know I’ve got a strong signal. Yes, I’ve rebooted. And it helps.. for about 20 minutes. What can I do?

my modem keeps overheating and shutting down. It gets so hot you can’t touch it. I have no way of going online to upgrade the firmware to maybe fix this issue. I’m afraid of a fire, but I can’t go without Internet so I keep letting it cool down andresetting it . It will lasts for a day and it does the same thing I let it cool down and reset it again This is been going on since I bought this, but I can’t afford to go out and buy another one so I’ve been dealing with it

My situation, basic internet traffic, 2K streaming max, house temperature is 70-72F (21-22C), running out of the 1 gigabit port not the 2.5gB. What should the external case temperature be for a Surfboard S34 modem? If EEE is enabled does that make a difference, in theory it should, but does it?

I placed an order for S33 Modem on Surfboard website and got only a order # after payment on the website. I have not received any tracking # email or confirmation of my order via email. I can’t seem to find any email or phone number contact I can call to help me with the order and it’s fulfillment. I ordered selecting 3-5 business days delivery options and paid $9.99 as well. So it should have arrived already or at the very least an email tracking that it was shipped. Can anyone point me to where I can find some help on this? Thank,

I ordered an S34 modem last week off shop.surfboard.com and never received an email confirmation or receipt. I know the email is correct because I keep getting product review requests. How can I get a tracking number?

I recently purchased a Surfboard S34 modem. It works fine without issue. I downloaded the Surfboard central app and it is not really helpful. I cannot see what devices are connected to my router. Additionally, when I use the admin page 192.168.100.1 there is no place to view the connected devices. Does anyone have any suggestions how I see this information? Thanks in advance.

I bought an Arris S34 from BandH Photo. I have Xfinity the 400mb plan. I hooked up the modem and it has a solid blue light. I have no laptop or desktop to connect to it. Only an ipad currently. I tried activating for two hours and it will not activate either through customer support (5 agents from Egypt, I might cancel Comcast for that) or through the Xfinity website. My old modem reactivated right away when I went back to it. XFinity wants to charge me $100 to send out a technician who will likely tell me its the modems fault. What should I do? Thanks

Per Fing my router allows UPnp and NAT-PMP which is a security vulnerability. I contacted you before on April 28 and was told to download and install the newer surfboard app, and though I did that there wasn’t an option to disable these identified vulnerabilities. Please help
