My modem is suddenly not connecting to Wi-Fi. Xfinity confirmed that the issue is not with their service.

A few other threads mention this issue. I’m having the same problem. I think that Comcast/Xfinity didn’t push through their firmware update to some of the cable modems.
You probably can log on through the Xfinity open network, as long as you have set it up through your Xfinity account.
