Does anyone have any idea when the TM3402 DOCSIS 3.1 Telephony Modem - Optimum will be back in stock? And is there another modem that I can buy that is compatible with Optimum service in Suffolk County, NY? Thanks!

TM3402 is not supported by Arris. Arris supports only the retail products that are available on surfboard.com but not the ISP lease products.

Thank you for the reply. However, my provider, Optimum, insists that Arris is the maker and seller of their product and even contains a link on their website directly to Arris’ for the modem. Optimum says I can purchase the modem directly from Arris (which I have done in the past instead of renting it from Optimum). Arris’ site just lists it as Out-of-Stock, but it has been out od stock for quite some time. So I am still at a loss.

Certain devices are only sold by Arris/Commscope directly to ISP’s.
that might be the case here. You might find it 3rd party through other websites
