I have the TG2492 device and it appears that it cannot handle multiple computers at the same time, especially when one of them uses 5G and the other one uses 2.4G connection. Currently both channels are enabled. I figured I wanted to update the firmware to see if it fixes the issue, but I cannot find this model anymore on the Arris website…. Is there a way to download the firmware update for this device?

TG2492 is not supported By Arris. Arris supports only the retail products that are available on surfboard.com but not the ISP lease products. Firmware cannot be updated manually by the customers or by the device manufacturer only the service providers can send updates to the modem even the modem is owned by the customers also only service providers can update firmware.
