Will it work with optimum (not altice) a cable not fibrotic. The modem I am replacing is the TM1602. It is for Telephone as well as internet. I am using then a package enterprise system with 5 access locations in a 7000 sq foot house as a router. The modem and router are in a utility room on one side of the house.

That’s a pretty big house for a single router solution. I’d be upgrading to a mesh system with multiple access points.
