Could you please provide more details about your issue? Specifically, does the slow connection occur only on Wi-Fi-connected devices, on wired connections, or on both?

Additionally, please confirm your subscribed internet speed plan.

Everything is wifi.  Nothing is wired.  Plan is over 400.

In this case we have to first isolate the issue by checking the cable signal levels within the gateway. If the signal levels are out of the acceptable range, they can lead to the kind of connectivity issues you're experiencing.

When the signal levels are within the recommended range, your modem can maintain a stable, high-quality connection to the internet

Please refer to the link below for instructions on how to check your cable signal levels:

If you find that the signal levels are not within the recommended range, we suggest contacting your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to have them reviewed and adjusted as needed.

If I am currently using the provider’s cable modem, and I save the speedtest results, shouldn’t I get similar results with the G20?  My internet speed now is 150Mbps download and 40Mbps upload.  My plan is for 400 - so I’m not currently hitting it with my current modem (provider’s modem).  With the G20, I expect to get much closer to the 400Mbps.

you’re not hitting it with the ISP’s modem?

I’d make sure you hit that first because if its a line issue, switching modem’s wont help it. Make sure the ISP is delivering your full speed before switching because once you switch, the isp tends to say “its not the line, it must be your modem”. Tough to say that when their using their own equipment.
