Older extender compatible with G20

I have a Linksys extender RE7000 purchased about 4 years ago, but not able to connect. Is it compatible with G20 ?

It should connect fine. make sure the g20’s wifi is set on wpa2/wpa3 mode and not just wpa3.

I’d also check on the linksys forum for alternative ways to add an extender

Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps
