Surfboard Central mobile app

I recently installed G20 Docsis 3.1 Wi-Fi Cable Modem.   Phones, laptop, TV are successfully connected.   However, the Surfboard Central app does not have the G20 as a selection choice.   I have reinstalled the app,  still nothing see other Arris devices not the G20. I reviewed the forum and see this can be an issue with the app and the G20.   Please advise.  Do not really want to connect to the modem using IP address and would like to be able to get to it through an app.

Make sure your mobile phone is connected to the G20's Wi-Fi network before starting the setup.


When you open the SURFboard Central app, it will ask you to choose your device type. Please select “SURFboard Gateway – ISP cable connected with integrated Wi-Fi.”

 

After selecting the device type, scroll through the list of gateway models. You’ll find G20 listed there—select it to continue with the setup.
