I have a G34 that for some unknown reason is having a problem with 2.4 Ghz band. I ran a speed test yesterday and my download speed is is 5 Mbps !  My 5 Ghz speeds are over 400 Mbps.  I have tried different channels to no avail. Speed remains the same.  Router is 1 month old and is on Comcast. A This problem started 2 days ago.  Any ideas on what happened?

As you had mentioned that you are facing issues on connecting the 2.4GHz and also tried different WiFi channels .

Have you tried testing its speed with a different device? Maybe its a device specific issue


It does seem to device related. I just tested my S21 and my Lenovo tablet.

Results: S21 3.58 Mbps upload  9.48 Upload

Lenovo  27 download and 14.9 upload

S21 test with my old Netgear router  45 download and 19.2 upload.

It seem my new Arris doesn’t like the S21.🤔
