Arris Surfboard Central App

I just installed my Arris G36 modem/router with my Sparklight ISP and everything is working great. I decided to download the Arris Surfboard Central App from the Apple Store and in going through the installation process the app wanted me to reset the Arris G36 to factory settings which I wasn’t about to do since the Arris is working perfectly.

I ended up deleting the App from my iPad. Has anyone else encountered this situation?

Could you please let us know which step you're currently stuck at?
Also, if you've already set up the interface before configuring the app, we recommend using the method outlined below for results. 

Click here if you have previously installed with Web based UI portal - Select this option if the Wi-Fi cable modem was previously configured using the Web Manager.
This will guide you through a different setup path, where you’ll be prompted to enter the login credentials for the interface.
