cannot connect Acurite Connect to Arris G34

I cannot get my Acurite Connect to connect to the Arris G34 - the ethernet light will not come on either device.  I have changed the cord and checked the settings- help, please?

Not rerunning setup on the arris but on the acurite. You shouldn’t need to do anything with the g34

Not sure what an acurite connect is. Do you need to rerun setup on the acurite connect?

It is the hub for my weather station.  The lights for the ethernet do not come on either device, modem or hub.  Will rerunning setup resolve the issue?

could be. Some of those devices need their networking setup rerun to enable the ethernet controller or wifi connection depending on which you’re using. Have you tried that?

No, I haven't yet, kind of nervous, will I have to set the entire gateway up, including the xfinity setup?
