I finally got the ethernet working, but it’s not working properly when I have to utilize VPN. When activating VPN, connection no longer works properly. I went to web interface and advanced->ALG→ and all security features to pass through are selected.

In this case to isolate the issue please try connecting device to the different ethernet port and check if the same issue happening on all ethernet port and could you please be more specific whether the internet is dropping in and out or there is no internet on direct connection?
Also please check internet connection without enabling VPN on the device connected to the modem directly.
