Tried to register modem with internet provider and they said they couldn’t find it in their end and I needed to contact manufacturer. Saturday and can’t get on live chat. Is there anything else we should try on our end so we don’t have to wait for customers support until Monday? 

what are the led’s on the device doing? 

Did you check to ensure you’re connecting it to an active coax port from your home? Not all of them are always connected.
