I can't access the device info and setting through the surfboard manager while hooked to the ethernet ports with my laptop. The mobile credentials don't work. Do I need to change interface status when using a ethernet cable instead of coax cable?

Hi Michael Ridley,

It appears that you would like to access the web manager page at 192.168.0.1 as you stated that you "can't access the device info."

Click on the below link to access the web manager page:

http://arris.force.com/consumers/articles/General_FAQs/G34-G36-Web-Manager-First-Time-Login

The ethernet cable links from the ethernet port to the device you had connected to supply hardwired internet, whereas the coaxial cable is an electrical cable provided by your ISP.

Hope this was useful.
