I have struggled with a DDNS provider, changeip.com, because the DDNS from my Arris G34 are not working to update with the correct IP address. They insist I must contact Arris, as they have stopped working on the issue. The token is right, the U and P fields are right (apparently, password is obscured) yet changeip support insists the request is malformed. Can you help?

Here’s a shot of their log

Try deleting the current DDNS setup from the G34’s interface. Then, re-enter the DDNS configuration by providing your:

  • DDNS account username
  • DDNS account password
  • DDNS hostname

This should help refresh the settings and make sure proper connectivity.
