Everyday my download speed drops to 32MBPS or 500+ when I restart and or when it decides to work properly wired and wirelessly. Upload speed is where it should be. This has been going on for about 2 weeks and I’m close to getting a different modem. Cox says nothing is wrong on their end.

 

Basically, slow speed, intermittent connection or no internet access occurs usually out of cable signal level, out of acceptable range and it will be resolved after the power level are adjusted by the service provider. So for this we need to check the cable signal level to confirm what causing this issue to proceed further. Could you please help us with your current speed plan.
