I see from the online community that to change wifi name and pw you log into an UNSECURE site in your browser 192.168.0.1. Even with the ethernet cable my network and computer are like no way, not secure, people can get your pw, credit card numbers etc. WHY??? Is this seriously the only way this company has allowed this to be changed?

I'd like to assure you that this warning is a precautionary measure taken by modern browsers, and it doesn't necessarily indicate a security risk.

If you're using a Chrome browser, you'll need to click on the "Advanced" button, and then you'll see a hyperlink that says "Proceed to 192.168.0.1."

And then continue to log in to the web manager page with user name: admin and password: password (if not customized).
