I want to setup a wifi channel just for my kids devices that I then control access to at night. I want to be able to turn off the wifi at 9pm for example, and then turn it back on in the morning automatically.

You can create Secondary Wi-Fi network on the G34.  Here are the steps.

Then you can use Parental Control to block Internet by time of day. https://arris.my.salesforce-sites.com/consumers/articles/General_FAQs/G34-G36-Parental-Control-Block-Internet-Access

@Netopia

Thank you. I did find the Parental Controls and tried to setup a nighttime block time for just that specific device (want to keep young kid off the internet at night), but it would not let me. It said the start time had to be earlier than the end time. So when I setup the secondary network, I assume I will block all devices, then allow that device for specified periods that would include the daytime.

As for the start time and end time, try creating two rules. One from 17:00 - 23:59, and the other for 00:00 - 07:00.

@Netopia That was perfect, I didn’t even think of that and now I don’t have to put her on her own network but I can still control her devices.

Thank you for taking the time to respond.
