G34 no connectivity to internet

Question

Came home from a weekend away. No internet. previously had internet working for the last year or so.

I accidentally reset the modem to factory settings. I remember this being a nightmare when I bought it and spending hours trying to get this worthless working. Now I can’t even access the WebGUI for some reason. I know there is some settings that have to change to connect to the Xfinity internet but I can’t seem to get to the portal or whatever to actually change the settings. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions that would be great. Also will end up needing whatever port or settings that work for Xfinity. Not really sure the right question because I haven’t thought about this in a year and I’m not tech savvy to begin with.

To access the web interface, you must be connected to the network either via a wired connection to a computer or wirelessly. This is a preconfigured gateway, so no additional configuration is required to establish an internet connection. As long as the gateway has been properly activated by your Internet Service Provider, you should be able to connect to the network and access the internet even after performing a factory reset.
