I recently upgraded my Wi-Fi router to the Ares G34. I've been noticing and experiencing some slower 5G Wi-Fi, and it's a lot slower when I'm in my bedroom, when my modem and Wi-Fi router is in the living room. I live in a roughly 800 square foot apartment and I'm unsure of why I'm experiencing this or I might be wrong and this might be normal.

“Under normal circumstances, if you're within 20 feet of the modem, you should experience good internet speeds on the 5 GHz band.

Could you let me know if there are any concrete or brick walls between you and the modem and whether the modem is placed in an open space?

Also, could you share the internet speed plan you've chosen with your ISP?

I can assist you with changing the Wi-Fi channel and monitoring the performance over a 24-hour period."

what are those walls made of? Some apartments like to use brick/plaster lathe/concrete that does a great job of blocking wifi
