I have a new Surboard G34 and am having to reboot the router 5 times a day or more. I constantly am getting a no internet warning. I am on Sparklight 1gb plane and the issue happens on both bands. When I contact Sparklight they send me through the re-boot hell and when the signal returns, all is well on their end and 20mims later, it drops again. All my devices retain WiFi connection, just not internet. I’m a complete network neophyte so please keep any suggestions grounded in English. LOL

Would it be possible for you to connect a computer directly to the gateway using an Ethernet cable? This would help us determine if the internet drops only on the Wi-Fi, or if it affects both Wi-Fi and hardwired connections.

Make sure that the gateway is placed in an open area to minimize Wi-Fi congestion.

If you find that the internet drops only on the Wi-Fi, I would suggest trying to change the Wi-Fi channels to improve the connection

It would be helpful to try changing the Wi-Fi channels to reduce congestion and improve the connection quality.

Please refer the link below, where you can find the steps to change the Wi-Fi channels

I am sure it is only droping internet because our devices stay connect to the WiFi for a few minuets after the “you are not connected to the internet” errors start. I tried the link but get this:

“We currently are experiencing issues with our support site. Please check back again at a later time.”

Your probably using SParklight! LOL

Thank you, I did find the information and online and changed the chanels but it made little difference. Sparlight has scheduled a service call for today. Hoping that they find something.
