G34 suddenly stopped holding VPN connection

I am required to use a VPN for work. Have been doing so for many years. I replaced an older modem and router 4 months ago. The G34 was working fine until one day it wasn’t. My VPN connection drops after 10 seconds. My IT dept went so far as to replace my computer but the new computer has the same issue. I have rebooted the modem many many times. 
 

I saw reference to an article, but the link tells me to “check back at a later time” (!!!) If this article will help me, can it be emailed to me perhaps?

or is there anything else I can do? I need to be able to do my job.

The  G34 is the NEW (4 mo old) modem, that might not be clear in my post.

Could you please let us know how your work computer is connected to the G34 modem—is it through Wi-Fi or via a direct Ethernet connection?

Also, aside from the VPN connection drops, do you experience general internet disconnections when connected to the network? If yes, does it happen over Wi-Fi, wired connection, or both?

Lastly, please share your subscribed internet speed plan?

I’ve been having this problem for 4 weeks now. Some days the VPN connection has held for an hour or two or six, others not at all. Of course today it was fine all day. I think it must be on the company end. They’re doing some work in the background that shouldn’t cause this, but sure seems like it is.  
 

I'm connecting over wifi, although at one point I did try using Ethernet, and it didn’t make a difference. I have no connection issues apart from the required VPN dropping. My speed is good -  up to 400 Mbps. 
 

Ive been trying to rule out everything I can on my end.
