Is it activated by the ISP?

did you try a reboot of the router and the device with ethernet?

Try a different cable?

Well...that didn’t work either...after turning my computer off and back on, lost ethernet internet again…

I have eliminated the following:

  1. Internet company came out and confirmed great speeds up to the unit
  2. Have rebooted (unplugged) unit and restarted desktop (so many times)
  3. Have confirmed no bad wiring
  4. Did a network reset on the new desktop...this actually brought up an ethernet connection of an identified network with internet access and works...I’m afraid to turn the computer off and back on now!
  5. Getting another IT Specialist to look everything over for me again and may start from scratch

The gateway has four Ethernet ports. Have you tried swapping the Ethernet cable to a different port on the back panel? If your computer is assigned a static IP address outside the default range of 192.168.0.* (which is provided by the G34), you will not have internet access.

Please ensure that your computer’s network settings are configured to obtain an IP address dynamically. Additionally, if possible, try connecting another device to the gateway via Ethernet to help isolate the issue.
