Every few days, the Modem stops the Internet connection, and the only way to reset is to unplug and restart. This is not due to power failures or any other issue. It is happening 1-3 times a week and is a real problem , I am with Xfinity

If the connection drops on both wired and wireless devices and the cable signal levels are within the acceptable range, we recommend reprovisioning the gateway.
If the issue occurs only on Wi-Fi, we suggest changing the Wi-Fi channels to the least congested ones.
