New G36, Xfinity is provider. System FREQUENTLY is "available, no internet". Xfinity feed seems robust.

My laptop is attached via ethernet cable. From command line I can ping & get all packets sent & received. From Surfboard web site, ping shows all packets dropped. Help!

Could you please share the screenshot of "Connection / WAN" page (which has the upstream and downstream information) so that we can check if the cable signal levels are within the acceptable range.

The cable signal levels are completely out of range, which is why you’re facing this issue. Hence, please contact your service provider to reprovision the device.
