After manually restarting the modem, my G36 Intermittently (every 5 or 6 restarts) drops SSID 2.4 and 5.0 username and password. I have to go back to the dashboard and re-enter the WIFI name and password. My ISP is Xfinity.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Is this happening on only one particular device or all the devices connected to modem WIFI network?

Basically, intermittent connection or no internet access occurs usually out of cable signal level, out of acceptable range and it will be resolved after the power level are adjusted by the service provider. So for this we need to check the cable signal level to confirm what causing this issue to proceed further. please follow the steps mentioned below to check the cable signal level.
