I have never been able to access the admin portal through the Surfboard Central app. I tried doing it over my desktop today and performed a factory reset on the G36.

Once it booted, I accessed it on Chrome (also tried Edge) and did the Network Wizard steps. Immediately after finishing setup, I tried logging in and it gives me the Invalid Login Credentials error.

I cleared the cache and tried different browsers. Same thing. What gives?

We recommend trying to access the web interface without the coaxial cable connected, as losing internet connectivity can sometimes disrupt access to the interface.

To do this, first remove the power cord, then disconnect the coaxial cable, and reconnect only the power cord.

Note: With the coaxial cable disconnected, the modem will continue flashing blue.

At this point, connect to the G36’s network and attempt to access the interface. If you reach the login page, try logging in. If it still shows ‘invalid,’ perform another factory reset on the gateway (without the coaxial cable connected), then complete the setup wizard and check if the process goes through successfully.
