I just purchased g36 and unable to download app. Says does not support my phone

what phone do you have?

and what version of OS (operating system) is it running?

Android galaxy s21 5g

Cannot download app

What error is the app store giving you? 

And you're downloading the surfboard app?

It says the phone does not support this version

can you take a screensnip on your phone of the app and the error?

yes said you have android already. what version do you have? 

And to take a screen snip on the galaxy s21 push the side key and the volume down key at the same time.

And get a screensnip of the error on the app store you see for the app

It’ll look like this where it shows android version. And when you go into the google play store to install the app and it gives you an error, screen snip that

 

I request you to download surfboard central app. Arris surfboard manager is the outdated version.

You need SURFboard Central App, not the SURFboard Manager.

Both ​@Netopia and ​@SURFboard Moderator have steered you correctly. You were trying to download the wrong app. The benefit to screensnips :)

I also prefer to just setup using the GUI. Tends to have more options for customization
